Finance and Quant Society (FQS) is a place to learn. It is not a brokerage, an advisor, or a trading platform. This page spells out what that means so there is no confusion.
Everything on FQS is for educational purposes only. That includes the lessons, the AI market read, the research tools, the daily market call, stock of the day, the Daily Trading Floor, the strategy tester, and competitions. None of it is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. We are students sharing what we are learning, not licensed professionals.
The Daily Trading Floor uses pretend money and made-up scenarios. Prices, news, and outcomes are simulated. Your scores and leaderboard rank are part of the game and do not reflect real trading, real results, or how you would actually do with real money.
Quotes, charts, financials, and economic figures come from third parties like FRED (the Federal Reserve), Yahoo Finance, Financial Modeling Prep, and TradingView. That data may be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Do not rely on anything you see here for a real trading or investing decision.
Some features, like the short daily market read, are written automatically by an AI model. AI can be confidently wrong, out of date, or miss things. Treat anything it produces as a starting point, not a fact, and check it yourself before you act on it.
Before making any real financial decision, do your own research and talk to a licensed professional who knows your situation. What works in a lesson or a simulation will not always work in a real market with real money.
Past performance never guarantees future results. Investing carries real risk, including the loss of the money you put in. Nothing on FQS reduces that risk or promises any outcome.
We point to outside articles, courses, and tools that we think are useful. We do not control them and linking to something is not an endorsement. Their accuracy and their terms are on them.
FQS is built and run by students, in good faith, and it can contain mistakes. If you spot something wrong, tell us with the Report link at the bottom of any page or email financeandquantsociety@gmail.com and we will fix it.
