FQS is a free club for high schoolers who want to actually understand finance and quant. It's run by students, and you don't need any background to start.
The curriculum starts with how an exchange works and goes all the way up to backtesting algorithmic trading strategies. Ten units, two hundred lessons, each ending in a short quiz. With our research tools you can pull live quotes, read a company's financials, and check economic data from the Fed. We run competitions through the year too, hackathons, strategy tournaments, and stock pitches.
We started it because most finance content online is either too basic or all over the place, and almost none of it lets you try things on real data. We wanted one place where you could start from zero and actually learn how markets work. So we built it.
